Personally I think Rugby is about the toughest sport there is. I mean to make players of the NFL generally look like pansies you know you’re in a rough sport. I just don’t get how players don’t die at least once a game.
But in any manly game there’s bound to be cheerleaders. And the NRL doesn’t fall short in that department. With 16 teams in the league that means around 160-200 chicks cheering their hearts out for these guys.
Well, enough with the chatter. Enjoy the photos of the Sharks Girls
The Florida Marlins Mermaids, Major League Baseball’s first and hottest dance/energy squad, is hosting open auditions for the 2009 team at F.I.U’s U.S. Century Bank Arena on January 18, 2009, at 8 a.m. ET. A select number of Mermaid hopefuls will be chosen from these auditions to take part in the Mermaid boot camp before competing in the final auditions at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 9 p.m.
In other words if you’re a pervert like me you might actually spend the money to fly down there, take pictures and put them up on your cheerleading blog.
Um, no. Actually I’ll just find some guy who put them on Flickr. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures of the Mermaids.
Hope all of you had a pleasant New Year. Now that it’s the weekend I’m still kind of tired. I have absolutely very little to say because I’m still in shock from the ass of the girl in the video above. It’s asses like that which make me both glad and miserable to be alive. Glad because well, look at it, miserable because I’ll never touch that dumper. Oh well.

As the San Diego Chargers finalized their improbably route to the playoffs, I could help but notice that after they managed to gain a 20 point lead that my attention shifted very far away from the game, and very close to the Chargers Girls.
I must have forgotten how ridiculously hot they are. And not only that. One of them has humongous, um, you know, things up there. P.S. I think her name is Gail. And let’s not forget that Kylette is still on the team. It’s really a joy to watch.
Soldiers were given a little something extra for the Holidays as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders performed their Annual Christmas Concert sponsored by the United Service Organization Dec. 29 at Carey Gym on Camp Casey.
The concert was a Vegas-style dance show with lots of costume changes and music ranging from country to hip hop, all to entertain Soldiers and uplift spirits during the holiday season.
Tough to concentrate on fighting with those pom poms in view
It’s usually the UCLA Cheerleaders that get a rise out of me and the rest of the nation. But I have to say that the Golden Bears squad can certainly hold their own.
And if you read their story, I’m quite impressed at how they evolved. The team went from a crazy men and women squad to one that now performed on an elevated piece of wood (insert sex joke here).
Now if only they get a pole in the center of that platform we’d have something.
remember the USFL? Although the league only lasted from 1983-1985 it was the only league to even remotely compete with the NFL. And yes, they had cheerleaders!
In fact, this classic video shows a tryout for the Wranglers. You gotta love the music.
Even though the Wranglers only went 4-14 that season, I’m sure fans had reason to be happy with these ladies on the sideline.
